Additionally, institutional customers can choose a Basic Access Licence (BAL), while individuals can subscribe via an Individual Licence.

The cochrane library on DVD ROM
The Cochrane Library is available on DVD-ROM, as well as online. The DVD-ROM is updated four times a year, with customers receiving a new disc every three months.

Pricing
The annual subscription rates for The Cochrane Library on DVD-ROM are:
- Personal Licence (for use from a private address by one person): $310.00 (excluding VAT)
- Institutional Licence (one concurrent user): $747.00 (excluding VAT)
- Each additional user*: $154 (excluding VAT)
For use by employees or members on one site, i.e. any building within a 25 mile / 40 km radius. Any building beyond this point must purchase a separate licence.
