Publication dates
The Cochrane Database of Systematic Reviews (CDSR) is made up of 12 issues per year, each issue is finalised on the last day of each calendar month. In June 2013, the publication model for the Cochrane Database of Systematic Reviews changes from a monthly publication, to a continuous publishing model where reviews and protocols are published as they are made ready. An issue will "open" from the first day of the calendar month and will "complete" on the last day of the calendar month.
CENTRAL and the About The Cochrane Collaboration database have 12 issues per year and are published on the last working day of the month. If the publication day falls on a Saturday or Sunday, publication will take place on the preceding Friday.
The Database of Abstracts of Reviews of Effects (DARE), Health Technology Assessments (HTA) Database, and NHS Economic Evaluation Database (NHSEED) have four issues per year and are published on the last day of January, April, July and October. If the publication day falls on a Saturday or Sunday, publication will take place on the preceding Friday.
The Cochrane Methodology Register was last updated in July 2012 and will not change until the future of this database has been reviewed.
The Cochrane Library DVD version is release four times per year.

Publication deadlines for COchrane Review Groups
Cochrane Database of Systematic Reviews
As described above, in June 2013 the publication model for this database is changing from monthly publication to a continuous publication model, where reviews and protocols are published when they are ready. This means that from June 2013 onwards there will be no monthly publication deadlines for this database. All Cochrane Reviews (including protocols and updates) submitted for publication within the calendar month and up to 2200GMT on the last day of the calendar month will be included within the monthly issue.

About The Cochrane Collaboration
To coincide with the move to a continuous publishing model for the Cochrane Database of Systematic Reviews, the publication deadlines and dates for the About The Cochrane Collaboration database will change slightly from May 2013 onwards. Publication of this database will always be on the last day of the calendar month (except if it falls on a Saturday or Sunday, in which case it will be the preceding Friday), and the publication deadline will always be 2200 GMT, on the last day of the previous calendar month.
